The Boulevardier…LaButti style!

The Boulevardier is one our favorite pre-dinner cocktails, especially on a cool Spring evening. Chances are if you’ve dined at my house, you’ve had this cocktail!

This recipe is super easy and only requires 5 ingredients.

RECIPE:

2 ounces Rye whiskey

1 ounce Aperol

1 ounce Capmari

2 ounces of imported Sweet Vermouth.

Orange twist

DIRECTIONS: Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass. Add ice and stir until chilled. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with an orange peel.

The original Boulevardier is equal parts Rye whiskey, Campari and Sweet Vermouth. We prefer a larger drink which is why we doubled the Sweet Vermouth and Rye and added an ounce of Aperol to make it less bitter.
